Authors now can ask for payment to grant additional permissions

We are glad to announce a new feature at RegisteredCommons.org.

Anybody who has registered a work now can define a price for granting additional rights.

For example, a work registered under a Creative Commons non-commercial license, now can be offered for commercial use, if a certain amount is being paid. Clearing partners can be involved to handle the transaction, or the author can be contacted directly to finalize the license deal.

We are also offering a Buy4Commons option, which means that anybody who pays the given sum triggers the work to be released under a CC-by license.

As a user you have to log in and click on the "My Works" link on the top right. Then select your work and you will see an option to offer additional permissions.

We are glad to receive your feedback on this new feature.
