Registered Commons

Registered Commons seems like one logical next step for Creative Commons to me. It both helps promote the idea of a Creative Commons and makes this innovative approach to intellectual property rights more usable.

Entering the 3rd year of smooth operation

Since its launch in September 2006, Registered Commons is gaining popularity. Professionals in the creative industry sector use the service to underline their copyright terms. From public domain to full copyright, any condition can be expressed.

osAlliance in co-operation with Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences provides reliable access to all metadata and works since 1000 days. During this period, we had only two hours of downtime due to a software update.

Meanwhile, we are running a sister service at CreativDepot.at, focussing on the creative sector in Austria, with more to come in future.
