Registered Commons

Registered Commons seems like one logical next step for Creative Commons to me. It both helps promote the idea of a Creative Commons and makes this innovative approach to intellectual property rights more usable.

Moving from BSD to Debian

When we had launched RegisteredCommons at the WOS4 conference in Berlin in 2006, we had decided for BSD as a very secure opertaing system. It worked very well for ten years. However, as we at fairkom are maintaining Debian servers mainly, we have decided to replace the opertaing system. A lot has been done under the hood to make the timestamp service ready for the next ten years. Thank you Martin, who is maintaining RC since its kick-off.

In case you observe any irregularites which may be caused by the migration, please let us know.
